21st Century FWT Tours

The twenty-first century travelers are looking for new and unique experiences. Luxury travelers want to learn and understand the culture and history of the places they visit. They want to experience it like a local, or more aptly, a very wealthy local in the right place at the right time.

It’s no longer about living in the most expensive hotels or eating off gold (or actually eating it); it’s now about providing clients with an experience they’ll never forget that no one else has Instagrammed.

Here are the 5 ways we provide a luxurious travel experience to those who want it.

1.  FWT make it authentic

Modern tourists are looking for an authentic experience of the town, village or city they’re visiting. Although there will always be “must see” tourist spots to go to, we provide authentic and local experiences to our guests.

Spent some time with Marco, the owner and craftsman of this Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese shop. It is a small family run business, they milk their own cows and use the milk within 2 hours to make their famous cheese.

For instance, we offer trips to niche spots that only locals would frequent, like a local bar, bespoke maker and lunchtime gem.

2. Make it unique

As a tour company, we have an existing inventory of tours and trips to offer guests. We also give guests the option of arranging a unique experience by mixing and matching different excursions, day trips, venues and activities to suit their personal preferences and interests.

We allow guests to transact arrival times and durations to suit their schedule and maximize freedom on either side of the day.

3. Make it intimate

Instead of outsourcing each excursion or day trip to different local operators, as a truly luxurious travel organizer we’re able to provide an all inclusive and seamless excursion.

Something as simple as having the same well-trained guide to accompany guests on destinations throughout a trip makes the whole experience much more intimate.

Having a familiar face creates more personal relationship, providing a personal touch that twenty-first century consumers crave.

4. Make it memorable

As mentioned earlier, there will always be “must see” places for guests to visit at every destination. Why not go the extra mile to make it more memorable?

We often ask the makers to open up special areas, for example the Gold room in the Prosciutto factory can be accessed by us allowing an extra dimension to the experience.

5. Make it safe

Being wealthy comes with strings attached and it’s no surprise that guests expect a certain level of safety and security when they trot around the globe.
