Ermete Medici & Figli Concerto 2009, Doc Lambrusco Reggiano
Lambrusco is a grape that produces light red wines that can be fresh, fruity and delightfully quaffable. All Lambrusco Reggiano wines are also slightly sweet and almost always bubbly. Up to 15% of the grape Ancellotta is permitted in these wines as they add colour and finesse to these crowd-pleasers. In the hands of a skilled winemaker, such as Ermete Medici, Lambrusco can produce exceptional wine – as the perfect BBB awarded by Gambero Rosso in their 2011 guide attests.
